DICKINSON MEADOW

The Dickinson Meadow development was conceived as a repurposing of a 6-acre former sand quarry at the outskirts of the Town of Amherst. Instead of a typical subdivision into four lots, the site was configured into five lots served by a common driveway with shared southerly views over a meadow and a constructed regenerative pond. By preserving a continuous boundary of trees, the development is sheltered from the surrounding neighborhood while maintaining a shared sense of open space. Each of the five high-performance model homes are designed to embody both spatial delight and efficiency, demonstrating how elegance and a quality lifestyle can be achieved in a moderately-priced home.
